always started up my 86.5 VG 3.0 SE hardbody and it was 1500+ rpms then warmed up and kicked down to 1000 rpms for the past 24yrs...now i'm seeing 500rpms warmed up idle and floats to 750 to 1000 in dry weather but is choking on 500 during the rain wet foggy days in traffic at lights after kick down any thing i can change...fuel air filters and plugs all clen and or regapped...148,000M on the horse...thanks for anytips..what controls the rpm during idel?

 

congrats with your 86.5 VG 3.0. wish we can see some photos here, can't share some tips because I haven't own one.
