Just recently purchased a new 06 pathfinder. Noticing a very distinct whine/whir when the AC compressor cycles ("ON" I assume). Not terribly loud but one of those things that once you know it's there bugs you to death, especially when driving at lower speeds with less road noise. Unfortunately it occurs I would say every 20-30 seconds or so. Living in TX, I'll use the AC at least 7-8 months/year. Does anyone know if this is typical and something I'll have to learn to live with? Thanks very much.
