the best thing it to make sure you do the regular maintenance. clean plugs and air filter are always a plus.

Besides regular maintenance, I always have some luck by putting in a K&N air filter and using full synthetic 5W30 motor oil.

I have 2004 and it's not that I'm dissapointed with its performance but how it eats up gas so quickly. Honestly, I am thinking about getting a regular car with a roof rack.

Hi
We just bought an 89 Nissan Pathfinder. The previous owner seemed to take good care of it. All the receipts, maintenance log etc are all in the truck. But! now it seems to be having a sputtering problem, at first we thought it was the gas. We are trying to figure out if it is an injector problem or what. Have any of you come across this with an older Pathfinder? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I installed a Tornado in my '96 Pathfinder. I have increased my average by 1-2 mpg. I bought it on Ebay for a total of $45.

try using Motorkote in your oil, trans and differentials
www.motorkote.com brought mine up 1.5 mpg
