92 Stanza (why are there no other postings for Stanza ???) Anyway ... have a 92 Stanza that the water is not circulating. My husband took off the thermostat and boiled it. He said that it opened and so that is not the problem. The car seems to be losing water somewhere but he can't figure out what is wrong ... anyone have any ideas ???

Well, on futher investigation: The water IS circulating but the fans are not coming on. Hubby bypassed the fans and do see that they are working so he figures now that it is the switch ??? But - where the heck is that ?????

the automatic swtich is generally incorporated in with the temperature sending unit.

This has nothing to do with your mechanical problem, but seeing the Stanza post brought back fond memories. I bought a new '92 Stanza XE with 5 speed manual. I put over 220,000 miles on it and never had major problems. Good luck with yours!

I also own a '92 stanza which also has a problem overheating. I was told it might be the thermostat since the water pump was recently replaced and the radiator cap. I'm still not sure where the thermostat might be located though. Also, what would be the procedure involved in installing it. I already bought the thermostat but I was told I needed to get silicone glue for it to have a good seal. Any answers please let me know.
