Hey everyone i got a 1989 nissan pulsar nx with a 1.6 sohc. i bought it in non running condition (for 100.00) I have compression in all cylinders. I have good fuel pressure. I have spark. I can spray carb cleaner down the throttle body and it will fire off instantly. my injector works and i verified that by running leads off the battery to the injector and it will spray fuel. I dont think the injector is operating when i try and start the car. I read the flash codes off of the ecm and says that everything is in good order (55). I checked continuity on all the circuits and everything checks out. I replace the crank angle sensor with no success. If anybody can help me out that would be great.

When the engine cranks normally but won't start, you need to check ignition, fuel and compression. Ignition is easy enough to check with a spark tester or by positioning a plug wire near a good ground. No spark? The most likely causes would be a failed ignition module, distributor pickup or crank position (CKP) sensors
