Default Nissan GT-R Spec V details release

The long time popularity of the Nissan Skyline caused a tremendous amount of interest in the release of the Nissan GT-R. Since the 2007 debut of the GT-R concept and the release of the production model in mid-2008, the public has been inquiring about a high performance model. While some would question the need for a high performance trimline of a high performance model, Nissan appears to have done just that and in fine fashion.

The While Spec V (Victory Specification in Japan) retains the same menacing stance as the base model, efforts have gone into making this a more track-friendly car, resulting in a jump in power up to 520hp and 440lb-ft of torque, and a drop in weight to just 3615lbs. One of the key weight reduction methods was removing the rear seat, so while the GT-R Spec V may not be the ideal family car, its times around “the Ring” have proven it to be among the most capable street cars in the world. The only downside to the new Spec V is the price, as the $130,000 expected price tag is more than twice that of the base model, but to true deep-pocketed track enthusiasts, the new GT-R Spec V is a must-have.

Maybe its that picture, but that car is heinous. And isnt a Z06 faster than a 911 turbo, too? That wouldnt make it much of a Corvette killer.

Hey I agree with you. But, one has to think that there is a full time team at Nissan who is controlling the pricing and quantity.

I don't think they can control the price. It's not in their hands. How can they control the price? They are luxurious cars and common man can't afford uch kind of cars.

Regular preventive maintenance is probably the single thing you can do as a car owner to keep your ride happy and save money on repairs in the future. However, not everyone agrees on what preventive maintenance is, what you should do, and when you should do it. Let's clear that up, and give you some tips that'll apply to any vehicle.
