I need to know if anyone has experienced this and how to fix it!!!!!!!!
Whenever I start my car it holds a good idle for about 10 seconds then the rpm gauge starts to drop down the it jumps back up. After it does that for a little bit the engine starts to stall, but the car is still fighting to stay on then the car just dies and I don't know what's going on. If I keep revving it up, when the engine gets warm it holds a good idle even though the rpm gauge drops just a tiny bit then jumps back up. But when you put it in drive and accelerate, the rpm gauge begins to jump around and you can feel it inside the car because it starts to shake. Please, if anyone can help me, please give me some tips so hopefully I can have the car to drive.

 

check for vacuum leaks or kinked rubber lines, a vacuum leak sounds like a hissing noise and gets louder when you rev it up and also has a dramattic horsepower drop (lack of power) check for those and get back to me on what you found

 

I know it's not what you mentioned b/c when you rev up the engine up there's no hissing noise. when you rev it up, the rpm goes back and forth, like if i revved up to 4000 rpm, the bar would jump between 3000 & 4000 rpm. then when you let go of the gas the rpm starts to drop from time to time. and sometimes it drops and comes back a lot until the motor just dies.
