Default Cold air intake?

Hey everyone,

I have a 90 300zx non turbo and was wanting to put acold air intake on, but was told notto since it will mess up the fuel to air ratio. Is that right? If not what brand would you recommend? Thanks

You do not have to worry about air fuel ratios when putting on a cold air intake.... it is always beneficial and would never cause you to run lean.....as far as brand check out AEM.

You could always just put in a set of K&N filters, i've heard dyno tested they can give as much intake as a short-ram system. I'm happy with it, i have them in my 93' N/A
