drive cycle of 96 sentra to set OBD for emission?
 

recently my 96 sentra gxe couldn't pass the emission test since the testing device got "rejection". the tech explained that might be caused by recent repair or jump start (that's what happened) which may have reset the on board dignostic (OBD) computer. after being reset, the emission systems have a "not ready" status thus the emission test was rejected.
he said my car need a specific procedure (drive cycle)to restore the emission systems to "ready" status. I googled around but didn't find any related articles for sentra.
so anybody know about this specific procedure?

Yeah, just simply, go out and put some miles on the car so that the OBD can cycle through a stage of monitoring your cars performance.
