The vehicle is a 2000 Nissan Bassara (JDM). My CD player will load CDs but gives me a "CD Error!" message then ejects the CD. Tuner looks like it is tuning to the stations, but only static is coming from the speakers. The only thing that seems to work is the minidisc player. Is this indicative of the infamous missing radio code problem? Where can I find my code?

Is there a site I can go to that can tell me what model of radio/cd/tuner I have without taking it out of the dash -either by model, year and type or by picture of the control face?
