The HKS Tuning GT570 GT-R
Even in light of the announcement that the price of any newly ordered Nissan GT-Rs were raised substantially in early September, the performance packages and trimlines are coming out in droves. The tuning world has eagerly been waiting to see which of the Japanese tuner heavy hitters would be the first to speak up, and while not a huge upgrade, HKS has revealed their first package for the GT-R.
As the name may lead you to believe, the power output of this new package is 570 PS (metric horsepower…around 562 “US horse power”), and HKS expects to have the packages available for sale later this year. Perhaps they could be waiting for the SEMA Show in November to unleash this new beast, but time will tell.
The package starts off with a set of Wastegate actuators which work with the stock turbochargers, and are aided by an electronic boost controller. Aluminum intercooler piping is added, held in place by silicone couplers, opening up the air flow to the engine a bit, and helping the engine escape is a set of straight pipe inserts that replace the stock catalytic converters. The reduced back pressure not only allows for more power, but it also reduces spool time, thus increasing acceleration. The bad news is that without catalytic converters, the GT570 is not street legal in Japan.
There has been no announcement as to when we might see the GT570 package stateside, but its not likely to be a very popular one with strict emissions laws requiring converters in most states, so that could be the hang-up HKS is dealing with before launching the option in the US.

I will wait for this product to release here in Philippines, seems like when my dad will use it, he will manage it easily.
