Default When to polish/wax a new Altima?

I have heard different stories. Some say the car comes already with wax on it so you should not wax or polish the first 6 or so months.

Others have said you should do it after the first through wash?

What give with the Altima as I just bought a 2009 3 weeks ago. Also should I just wax or do the whole bit polish and then wax.

Well you can polish the whole thing and seal it any time. The paint is very well cured no need to worry at all.

you need to polish it because it is normally exposed to sun and rain during storage. they only put wax on before releasing the unit to hide those contaminant build up during storage.
