The Wheel Buying Guide
According to a recent survey, a large percentage of people modifying their vehicles choose wheels as the first modification. Wheels happen to be one of the most noticeable parts on a vehicle, and many people refer to getting new wheels as buying "new shoes." But because of the relatively high price of rims/tires compared to other parts on the car, buyers need to be extra careful, and even spend extra time researching the wheels, tires, and even the company they purchase the wheels from.

RE: The Wheel Buying Guide
I have a 2002 Altima S (4Cyl.) I have a bent rim and instead of replacing it my brother is giving me his stock 2005 Maxima 18" rims so alI I have to do is buy tires (stock maxima 18's come with 245/45/18). I called the dealer to make sure that these would fit and they advised that I do not put these my 4cyl altima but gave no real reason other than "it could effect the drive of the car". Can provide technical info onwhy I should or shouldn't put these on my Altima...Thanks

RE: The Wheel Buying Guide
The wheel is a device that enables efficient movement of the car across a surface where there is a force pressing the car to the surface. It's a smart idea to be careful in dealing with part replacements. Alloy wheels are also considered more visually attractive than hubcaps. Alloy wheels are more expensive than standard nissan wheels and are prone to Galvanic corrosion if appropriate preventive measures are not taken.
