1990 Nissan Stanza WONT START
 

Much help needed,besids these 2 evident issues needs cvc joint and must push button on shifter neck to change from P< to< D this just started as well.
Just wont start, all dash lights come on, cranks but nothing. Getting fire, still nothing.
Would any of the underlying issues cause the car not to start ?

My only transport to and from work

perhaps a fuel pump?

I agree. Maybe a relay. When you turn the key to ignition, do you hear the fuel pump prime? or at least a clicking from the relay? you should hear the pump hum for a second when key is turned to "on" position in order to prime the fuel system.
