i've got an annoying squeel coming from the 'v-belt' area in the engine compartment. i think
i have it narrowed down to the fan clutch as i've tightened and dressed all belts and lubed all
pulleys. the squeel begins on startup, lasts for 20 seconds or so and then stops. there is a
notable (audible and tach) jump of 2k in rpm's when the squeel stops. all parts involved are
original with the possible exception of v-belts.

by fan clutch i am referring to the device connected to the cam shaft which the blades of the
radiator cooling fan are attached behind the radiator.

truck runs at norm temp and the system is charging. air cond is operational.
