2005 Automatic transmission RE4F04B Versions
Hello Everyone,
I have technical questions about the Nissan RE4F04B autotrans:
Are there different versions of the RE4F04B? or is every one exactly the same?
For example: Can I take a RE4F04B out of an '05 Altima and drop it in a 2005 X-trail T30 when both have QR25DE (Gas) engines? (The Altima and Xtrail use the same Engine/ Trans setup, the Xtrail has a beefier frame and suspension).
Would the transmission SN# define if it is unique?
I am trying to buy a Reman auto trans from the US for my X-Trail, but many of the companies are telling me they don't support the Xtrail. So I'm reaching to the Nissan community for help with this.
