72 240z please help
 

my name is troy , i am mechanicly inclined but dont know much about the internal engine operation and specifics of the 240z. i bought a '72 rat a couple days ago. it was running but the carbs needed a cleaning and maybe a rebuild. i took them off w the surprise of the engine coolant pooring all over! I later realized i should have drained it a bit first. from there a minor error may have been the least of my problems. with the carbs off the car and me not paying attention, a friend of mine cranked the car over, it cranked a couple times before i could run over and tell him to stop. by then the car seemed to stop itself??? last night i researched to find out that if you dont drain the coolant prior to removing the carbs that the coolant can run into the intake and motor! so lets say some coolant did run into the intake.Then lets say with the carbs off and the coolant possibly in the intake/motor and then the motor was cranked..... what type of situation am i in now and what do i do next??? please advise feel free to call my cell @ 508 207 0975 thanks troy
