I've got a 1984 Nissan Maxima with fuel injection. I'll be driving alongand after 2-3 hoursthe thing just quits. After it sets for a good while it restarts and runs fine again. If I check the engine right after it quits running, I findI've got plenty of spark and plenty of fuel pressure, but it doesn't even try to start.

Here's something interesting, though. When I disconnected the fuel line(between the fuel filter and the injectors) to make sure it was getting fuel, the engine turned over. Of course it would die right away because I had the fuel line unhooked, but when I reconnected the fuel line, it wouldn't start, it would only crank. Each time I disconnected the fuel line it would turn over again and die when I reconnected the fuel line, etc., etc. What do you think?
