91 d21 hardbody 4cyl. EGR temp sensor ohm specfication?
Hello. I have a 91 d21 hardbody, the 4 cylinder. code 3-2 repeatedly sets after about 20 seconds of driving on freeway. Comes back other times while driving off freeway. I cannot get the engine to completely stall when applying vacuum to the egr valve directly. However, it does bogg horribly and runs awful. I performed a cylinder balance test with vacuum applied directly to the EGR and all cylinders respond equally. I have confirmed proper operation of the BPT valve and control solenoid. I have made sure there is 5v reference to the EGR temperature sensor and proper ground. The ohm reading was near infinite when cold and about 40k ohm after idling engine for about 5 minutes with EGR valve opened up. Does this fall within specification? I'm wondering if the problem with the system is a biased egr temp sensor. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks. I found the signal tube to the BPT from the EGR valve was plugged solid. Removed the signal tube, cleaned the thing out with a pick and drove the vehicle. After a good test drive no MIL.
