aftermarket speakers for xterra
 

I am trying to install after market speakers in my 2000 nissan xterra. I am told that I have to replace the 6 x 9 back panel door spaekers with 6 1/2 " after market speakers because all aftermarket 6 x 9's are too deep to fit. Also, the tweeters in the front door are 1.5" and all after market tweeters are .75 to 1". Are there any solutions that anyone knows to solve these problems?

Sorry man, usually this isn't a problem with replacing speakers. My 03' Maxima just took two pairs of 6 1/2s front and rear and I left the stock tweets.

i have heard several issues where people cant put aftermarket component speakers in because they are too deep. i would recommend getting one out, and going to a good shop, who can let you compare the depth of the various aftermarker speakers to the stock ones.
