almera tino non start "SECURE"

Hello

I am looking for help! My 2003 1.8 Almera Tino has shown no signs of problems but today would not start. The ignition relay does not click, the NATS sign on the dash stays illuminated, all other lights on dash stay illuminated (engine management etc). When turning the key the nothing happens and the lcd display displays SECURED. The key fobs 2 off do not operate locking system and I had to get towed. Is this a problem with the imobilliser NATS system which has locked down the ecu? Has anyone heard of this problem before? Also soes anyone know where the ecu is fitted on a Tino?

Any advise woudl be most welcome.

Many thanks
Steve
