I'd had a 1999 SEntra, and because I'm under 5 feet tall, I'd had an airbag on/off switch installed (with the NHTSA permission form). When I wanted to purchase a 2005 Sentra, the dealer said I'd be able to get one installed on the new car (they would order the part after I rcvd the permission form). So I bought the car in June, got the permission form, gave it to my dealer - and 4 months and endless phone calls later, I'm told Nissan no longer makes the switch. I'm furious and upset and nervous about driving in the snow! Does anyone have any ideas? Also - do you know at what speed I"d have to be driving, and crash, for the airbag to deploy? Thank you.
