Engine stumbling, black smoke on 300zx

I have an 86 300zx 2+2, 138,000 miles, never a problem with starting cold and acceleration. Lately it's a chore to start it in the morning, it stumbles on acceleration, with black smoke. Any ideas what the problem is?
