Fuel evaportive Canister 95 P/U
I have to find some techinical data confirming that my truck was originally equipped or not equipped with a fuel evap canister. I have spoken with Nissan consumer affairs, local dealers, independent mechanicand a state of California emissions referee. No one has been able to get me a definitive answer. The Chiltons manual for my model (KA24E 2.4 L, manual transmission, 2WD) has a picture of it, but no indicator that it is supposed to be on this model (it is not called out on either of the diagrams). The part I got from the dealer does not correspond to any bracket that I can find and there is a general confusion about where it belongs (by the fuel tank, or inthe engine bay???) Any and all information pertaining to this is whole heartedly welcome. Please help
