Question Ignition coil location!

Hello,

I need some help. I am trying to replace all ignition components because I have a trouble code of P0301 and P0325. From what I have been hearing, if I fixed the P0301 problem then more than likely it will fix the knock sensor also. I have changed the valve cover gasket and put new spark plugs (NKG), wires, cap and rotor button. Reset computer and light came back on. Now I want to change the ignition coil and distributor. Now I have the Chilton’s book for my 97 Nissan Altima. It tells me that the coil should be to the right of the distributor for 1993 – 2001 models. It is not there. I don’t know where it could be located. I was wondering would any one else know. Is it inside the distributor? Is it located someplace else? Please help.

It is a 97 Nissan Altima LE with 234723 miles on it. Its an automatic.
