nissan 2.0td missing when warm
 

been to see a diesel mechanic about my serena he came for a drive and he said the clanking sound was fuel starvation he said to try changing fuel filters which i did still the same i have to go and see him again today could there be a vapour lock in fuel tank because the car starts first time from hot from cold but only when you drive it roughly 10 miles then it starts to miss and cut out but if you take it out of gear it will run rev up ok and idle ive even wondered if it could be the alarm any help please
