Nissan Serena overheating

I have a grey import Nissan serena 2.0L diesel 4x4 1995 which was imported from Japan to the UK but we now use in spain.
The car started to bubble and gurgle and run hot a last week so I flushed the system through, but still had the same problem, I then removed the thermostat and it seemed to cure the problem untill this morning where it has started to bubble and gurgle again and running very hot.The Serena still drives, starts, and pulls very well but dos not seem to want to hold any coolant, as it is building up lots of pressure and blowing out.The Serena has only done 45000 miles and runs superb (too good to scrap)

any ideas anyone.

Mark

[&o]Bubbling, gurgling, building up excessive pressure in the cooling system, sounds like head gasket, unless you have cracked the head by adding coolant to the engine when it was too hot.
The correct procedure for this would be to slowwly add the coolant to an overheated engine while the engine is running.

Good Luck in sunny Spain
