Oil capacity of Sentra 1600 engine

Hi folks I am new here and needed some help with this answer.
I bought my elderly Fathers 1998 Sentra equipped with the 1600 cc engine that has 81,000 miles on it last week and noticed right off it had an oil leak.
Yesterday a trusted shop replaced the front engine crankshaft seal as well as the oil pan gasket along with one of the CV axles.
Looking over the past paper work in the little cars glove box i noticed for the last ten years my Dad has taken it to the same quick lube place and their paper work indicates they have been putting five quarts of oil in it which too me seems like an awful lot for such a small engine.
The shop I took it too yesterday said they put in 3 and 3/4 quarts with a new filter after replacing the seal and pan gasket.
I stopped by a Jiffy lube yesterday and the kid there said it takes 4 and 1/2 quarts.
I placed a call to the local Nissan dealer and was put on eternal hold and gave up after about 10 minutes.
My Dad says the owners manual is somewhere around the house but if I cant find it and before the next oil change I want know just how much oil to put in it.
Can some one here help me with the answer to this question??
Thanks.
