Hi, i just been given a primeria 2.0 16v (carb) 1991 "J-reg"

For the past month it started to start on 3 cylinders, when warmed it would run fine.
The car has just died, i thought it ran out of petrol but it had'nt.

it is not getting a spark, but i have checked the coil lead with a multi meter and coil is fine. took off the dizzy cap and all the contacts are white, i have cleaned it up and sprayed alittle wd-40 and that did'nt work. still no spark.

also the fuel pump is loading at the ignition (hear it when ignition is on) but when i took the spark plugs out they were dry..

any suggestions would be help to me.

is there any know problems?
