I was replacing the distributor cap and rotor in my nissan sentra 1993, 187k miles.

Wiped off the filthy face of the distributor and the little rubber part-don't know what to call it- just tore off.

Auto zone tells me I can't get another one of these rubber thingies, have to drop 200$ on a new distributor if I want one.

Any alternatives known?

 

hit up the junk yard. bound to find a gently used distributor. just be gentle with the used one. got a picture of this thingy?
