Timing procedures for a 1989 VG-30-V6
 

Hi there, I'm a newbie to this fourm so I'll try to keep my questions as intelligent as possible !!!! Does anyone out there have any "tips" or suggestions on removing and replacing the starter motor on a 1989 Pathfinder with the V-6 5 speed manual tranny? Also what is the "correct" method for checking and adjusting the ignition timing on this motor and what should it be set at for optimum performance and gas milage improvements???
