tranny problems
 

I have a 94 maximathey put the motor & tranny from a 89 max. into. everything works fine but the tranny will only shift into 1st & reverse. Both are very strong. I can put into drive & stomp it no slipping at all. just will not shift beyond 1st. Just bought the car need help.
