I have a 86 300zx 2+2 n/turbo.

Feb of this yr I had to change the alternator.

Last week a garage said I needed a new battery and altenator because the gage was going from 10 to 14.

One time the meter went to zero.

I had another garage check it out after installing parts suggested and they said all ok. We now have 2 different garages saying it is ok on their meters, but it still is doing the up and down, after replaceing the altenator and battery.

Went to a electricial shop and after 2 days of checking it out, could not find anything wrong.

The meter is still going from 10-14 while I drive. The car does not shut off.

When I press on the brakes, I can see the gage move down.

The electrial shop said it might be the gage.....? I don't think this is it?

Any help?
