Window and Door lock jammed

Window and Door lock jammed
Hi
My driver side window quit working a few months ago. It would get jammed and for some reason it would go down without an hesitation, but it would take me 15 mins of playing aroundwith the button to get it back up again.Now my lock on the same side is no longer working! All the other windows and locks are fine. Also when I press down on the buttonon the driver side window it makes a clicking sound but not enough power to get it back up again!
1. Does anyone know if this is related?
2. Is this something I can repair myself or am I better off taking it to the dealer where they may charge way too much ?
3. If so can anyone guide me on how to do this please?
