I just bought a 1998 Nissan Maxima.....the hood struts need to be replaced...the cigarette lighter where you plug in your cell phone charger is loose and will come out when you unplug the phone charger.....also when you first start the car in the morning it will die for the first three tries then will stay running.....also make a noise at the front right area under the hood when you start the car every time.....any ideas on what the problem is? I had someone tell me it sounded like a belt....the car runs great and sounds good...it has 103 thousand miles...any ideas on any of these areas?

 

Your friend is prob. right about the belt..... if there is nothing holding the cig. lighter plug, then secure it, if the tabs are broke you will need to replace or rig something up..... Welcome to the forum!
