Engine removal 1996 Nissan 4x4

Hi I’m new here on the Nissan forum. I’m having to pull the engine on a 1996 Nissan pickup 4x4,manual 5speed 4cyl Eng 2.4. Question: Has anyone done this before,I’m having to do it myself as funds are short to take it to a shop. Do I take transmission out attached to engine, transfer case ? Any help appreciated

For your 1996 Nissan Pickup 4x4 manual, it’s generally easiest and safest to remove the engine and transmission together as one unit, leaving the transfer case attached.
