Well I just purchased a brand spankin new 2006 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and I LOVE IT!!!!! The performance is amazing and the cost of buying one right now is just so cheap. Thousands less than the Civic Si, Mazda 3(unless you are part of the mazda racing club), Corolla XRS, Subaru Impreza 2.5i, Chevy Cobalt SS, VW GTI(GLI), and many others with similar performace. Nissan engines last forever and the quality on the interior is probably the worst by Japanese standards but far superior to an car America can produce. The plastic is cheap but looks nice and by no means unattractive. Unless you are partial toward a shrunkan altima(look of the 2007 sentra), I would suggest the 06 sentra in either the SER or SER Spec V form(SER comes in auto while Spec v is only a 6speed). Hope my comment helped.
