240 how to
 

Well I'm not a complete stranger to Nissan or the 240 but Im wondering if anybody knows where a good place for some research is. I Just bought a 90 240 and I used to have a 92 so I know there are alot of differences and id like to find out what all is different I just dont know where to start. Please help...

you have a 1st gen wich has a SOHC KA24de i beleve.the 92 is 2nd gen and is DOHC

if its an SOHC the it would be a KA24E or SE (Im not sure about which it is) not DE the D means 2 cams. E means electronic fuel injection.

yeah lol havent thought about that ima chek that out tho i didnt know the 240's came with SOHC's before some guy told me...so ima look into that

the 89-94 240sx came with the ka24e single over head cam and the 95-98 came with the ka24de dual over head cam. between the 90 and 92 everything is pretty much the same except newer. what do you really want to know about them?
