Default electrical trouble

I have a 1995 240SX that has developed an elctrical problem. Car will crank and run fine with but there are no brake lights and no power to guages or lights in the dash as well as radio and interior lights not working as well. Might even be some more stuff not working that I have not ran across yet. All fuses chek ok so what could be causing the problem?

Yes it runs great with just only the headlights and horn that works. Everything else electrical doesn't work. Checked the back of the ignition switch to make sure that part of that switch wasn't bad and all checked out good. It is mind blowing for sure. All the fuses check good as well. No power tothe box except for a couple fuses.

I found the problem. Kinda funny how it was found but at the positive terminal there is also another 2 wires that come in from the electical box behind the battery. They plug into a plug that is bolted to the positive cable end. Evidently before we purchased the car someone casue a problem inside that melted part of the plug and it finally gace up the connection. Was under the hood and just by accident moved them while checking some other stuff and and heard the alarm for the key being left in the ignition. Replaced that part and problem solved after totally tearing apart the dash checking and rechecking all those wires. A friend in SC had the same problem with a car he purchased to resale the same time Iwas messing with this one and he had the same problem but we both were oblivious that we were into the same thing til I finished and called to tell him the dilema.

well now you know what to look for if you ever run into that again, you learn from expeiriance. so that good, i was about to ask if you checked for voltage at the fuse box and at all the fuses with the key on.
