I just have a question, my 200sx "ga16de" has been out of comission for a few years now. basically my car started with a small tapping, then grew to a knock. I dont want to think it is a rod knocking, however when I was driving it one day it turned off when I pushed the clutch in and afterwards started up like nothing had happend. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

yeah but my car is running no problems, its not missing or anything. It is just having a knocking noise.

 

where does the knocking noise coming from?
