Default Need some help with motor

i dont know if anyone can help but here is my problem.
i have a 1995 nissan 240sx, that i just got. when i went to rev. it up i seen it had a rev. limiter. in other words , no matter what gear iam in if i put my foot to the floor or just give it some gas, it will only go to 2500 rpm's is there any way to get that out of there? cuz i cant do burn outs and drifts if i can only go to 2500 rpm's. plz help[][X(]

prob doesnt have any thing to do with yur rev limiter, it wont kik in till way higher.yu may have water in yur gas, try sum HEET in yur tank and let us know what happens.

i gess that would make sense, i have also seen alot of water coming out of the tail pipe. i will try some heet and get back with you.

i put heet in my tank then filled it up with premium, but in still dose it, it sounds like it has a govener at 2500rpms.

ok i fixed it, i dont think its a good thing to cut off the air sensers, to put a cold air intake on. i drilled the holes and put the air sensers on and now it runs great.
