putting a GT1752 turbo from a saab on a ka24de
 

Hi my name is patrick and im new to the forum. I have a Garrett GT1752 turbo from a saab 2.3Lviggen and wondering if anyone knows anything about putting this turbo on my ka24de?, do the exhaust manifolds match up?, and where to run coolant and oil lines from. Im planning on doing alot of custom stuff from there like intercooler piping and full exhaust. I would muchly appreiciate any info. Thanks Patrick

well first your going to need a turbo manifold and then your going to possibly have to change the turbo flange on the manifold. your going to have to get your oil feed probably off your oil psi sending unit and t off from there and then your going to have to drill into the side of your oil pan for an oil return and im not 100% sure where to get your coolant feed and return from cause i never boosted a ka24de i always usually just swap engines. i wouldnt bother with a saab turbo cause most of them are to small i would look for a sr20 t28 or an rb25/26 t28 if you need a turbo i haveone t28 off my rb26 that i can sell you for $300 plus shipping.

Don't use a stock turbo off of a Saab.... they are inefficient as hell. If you want to run a small turbo buy the t28 off of HXC.
