Default Should I turbo my KA24DE motor?

I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx all stock except for a catback apexi exhaust system. I have GReddyTD07S-25G turbocharger, that I want to put on it, but I was wondering if it is a bad idea to do it to a stock motor? Will it blow up easily? Any feedback is appreciated.

Ive heard alotta bad stories from people turboing a KA24 and having it blow. Personally, i would sell the turbo on ebay or something and do an SR20DET swap. more reliable

the ka would be cool as long as you keep the boost ata reasonable level.

if i were you i would put new internals in the ka with lower compression and also a multi-layer headgasket and some sort of fuel management and then you can boost more and be able to get 300hp+ depending on your tune. just make sure you do it right so it would last, the ka24de has potential if its done right. but the ka24de would blow if you dont have a good tune on it with it boosted cause that motor is very picky.
