i have a 300zx four seater and i was wondering if i could just take out the engine and swap it with a twin turbo Z engine???

 

The wiring harness, ECU and exhaust manifold will nedd to be replaced. Also the drive line in the TT is a lot stronger than the N/A, the diff especially. I think there is an article on twinturbo.net on what is actually involved with this swap.

 

He's right it's stonger, but the 2+2 is also longer. So if your get tt mod's, they have to be for the japanese model; Fairlady tt 2+2 there is a couple of extra inches to make up for for having the back seat espeacially the driveshaft and the actual bellhousing for the trans... I belive... i'm not sure though? read hard or your going to be broken hearted when it's up in the air and it don't fit.
