86 300zx when applying brakes all but "sensor" and "oil" idiot lights come on and stay on. Some times pressing the brake again will extinguish the lights but not always. Also the battery light goes from dim to bright. I checked the voltage and it is 13 -14 volts with the car running. Any thoughts to help me out?

 

check to see if all tail and brake lights are working first

 

check all ur fuses that happened to me a little while ago

 

I have a 1990 and the same thing is happening to my car. I got a red top battery but it went dead already. I dont know if its the alternator or what?
