97 Altima has a vibration noise! HELP!!!!
 

Hi,

My 97 Nissan has a vibration noise when you first take off. The gears do not slip. This only happens if you put the pedal to the metal when you first take off after that, it doesnt matter if you step on the gas pedal hard or soft, it wont make that vibration noise. THe whole car vibrates during the first take off.

Anyone know what the problem is?

could it be the torque converter?

sounds like a loose nut behind the wheel, did you check that out yet?
