alternator problems
 

Have had my 94 altima GXE about 3 years this will be my 5th alternator replacement. Runs great for 6 or so months then decides it needs a new one this last one only lasted 3 months. I thought maybe a short or something but wouldn't a short happen a lot quicker apprecitate any help.

what do you mean you had to replace it? it didn't produce enough electricity? if so, maybe try a bigger alternator.if you alreadyhavethe most powerful, then trya bigger car's like the maxima... that's my opinion. that's what i woulddo.
