I NEED SOME HELP GOING NUTZ
I recently bought a 1988 nissan 200sx.the gentleman i bought it from had put in a stock altima deck and cd changer.what year i have no clue.I LOVE THE CD CHANGER .Its a 6 disc and all the song i like fit on 6 disc so i put it on random and im good to go.But the stock deck tat its hooked up to has a tape player and two stupid little ***** to adjust the bass and treble.I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO PUT AN AFTERMARKET DECK IN SO I CAN ADJUST IT ALL BETTER.I HAVE A ROCKFORD 12" WOOFER IN THE TRUCK AND I CAN PUMP IT LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO.the stock deck doesnt have the input and output jacks so i hade to buy an adapter that feeds off of the rear speakers.I was just hoping you guys might have an idea as to were i could find a cable adapter to hook up a stock cd changer to an aftermarket deck..
it doesnt say what brand anything is on it as well i was told its probally and alpine...

RE: I NEED SOME HELP GOING NUTZ
I did go to a shop and they couldnt help me what so ever ....i just wanted to know if anyone knew how to hook up an after market deck to a stock cd changer.......because the shop would much rather prefer me to buy a whole new set up and spend 200 to 600 dollars and buy a new deck and changer than buy a new deck.... im tryin to save some money and go the cheaper rout if possible.....
ANY HELP OTHER THAN GO TO A SHOP WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED.......THANKS

RE: I NEED SOME HELP GOING NUTZ
Simple enogh it cant be done. You will notice the six disc changer will have a different style of plug and there is no adapters for it. If you want to have the cd changer its going to have to be a new setup. But if you have an IPod i would go ahead and buy an alpine cd player. The CDE-9856 and the CDE-9852 have IPod capabilities. The cord is 30 bucks and the easiest cd player to use with an ipod. I work at best buy as an installer, i know dont bash me or nuthen. But hope that helps
