I have a 97 Altima when it rains the brake & battery light comes on.

it sounds like you drive belt is getting wet and causing an electrical issue. how old is the belt?

Time wise that belt should be past do for changeing...isn't it kinda dry rotting???

then, it sounds like you have a wiring issue of sorts, and that would be very difficult to find. check the terminal connections on the battery...simple things like that first.

i have a 97 altima my self and i had the same problem, but the brake light went away when i flushed and refilled the brake fluid.
