Default Problem with plug wire on 98 Altima

My 98 Altima has one certain plug wire that comes off. As you know, the plug wires on the 4 cyl are in the top and extend dwon into the head. Can someone tell me what is causing this? I put the plug back on and drive awhile only to have it happen again. It seems to be happening more frequently. It is the third cyl from the distributor.

Thanks for your help.

Default RE: Problem with plug wire on 98 Altima

Try This ~
Take a spare spark plug of similar type in your hand and fit the troublesome wire to it.
If it is a TIGHT FIT ~ then remove the spark plug from your engine and examine it.
If it is a LOOSE FIT~ then replace the plug wires as a set.

If you remove the existing plug pay attention to see if it was not well seated (torqued down) as
blowby might be the culprit! [8D]
